News on Future of Kingoldrum Church

Members of the community have held three meetings to discuss possible future uses of the church. A letter has been received from the Church of Scotland Trustees which states that they are now aware there is already a community hall in Kingoldrum, and they doubt the community could support two halls. The trustees are minded to seek to sell the church for value rather than to offer it on a favourable lease to the community. Any community group wishing to use the church is likely to have to buy the church at full value.
